Council on Aging unanimously backs a mobile shower unit for unhoused residents. Library Trustees approve full-day June staff training with partner agencies.

Library Trustees vote to expand June staff training to a full day. Director Deb Hinkle proposed expanding the normally two-hour June meeting to 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., to include lunch, a construction tour, and planning sessions for the ongoing library renovation. The trustees approved unanimously.

Disability Commission approves March minutes, authorizes Parkhill Plaza access letter

Fitchburg Disability Commission approves March minutes and authorizes accessibility advocacy. Chair Basil Tolos was authorized to send a letter to the rear building owner at Parkhill Plaza requesting consideration of curbcut updates to improve access. The Commission welcomed new member DJ Tardiff
