Fitchburg Disability Commission approves March minutes and authorizes accessibility advocacy. Chair Basil Tolos was authorized to send a letter to the rear building owner at Parkhill Plaza requesting consideration of curbcut updates to improve access. The Commission welcomed new member DJ Tardiff and voted unanimously to print business cards.
Emily Stark reported a sensory-friendly movie screening scheduled for Hammond Hall the week of May 4th, and Carolyn Quirk announced a free All Abilities Art Project workshop in May at the Senior Center with an accompanying spring art show and museum tour. The Commission also coordinated with the Fitchburg Library for a Family Game Night during April school vacation week with accessible space and games.
