Friday, January 16, 2026, 11:35 p.m.Traffic Enforcement: A traffic stop near the 600 block of John Fitch Highway resulted in a preliminary incident report.


Saturday, January 17, 2026, 2:17 a.m.Disturbance: A disturbance was reported at the 20 block of Gage Street; a preliminary report was filed.

Saturday, January 17, 2026, 6:31–11:17 a.m.Motor Vehicle Accidents (Cluster): Multiple motor vehicle accidents were reported across Fitchburg during the morning hours, including crashes at River Street near George's Auto Sales, South Street at Electric Avenue, South Street at Cross Street, Old South Street, Water Street near Pine Dental, Birch Street at Water Street, Putnam Park, Spring Street, Rollstone Road, Wanoosnoc Road at South Street, South Street at Walnut Street, and Heywood Street at Old South Street. Accident and incident reports were generated for multiple collisions.

Saturday, January 17, 2026, 10:34 a.m.Fraud: A fraud complaint was filed as a walk-in at Workers' Credit Union, 800 block of Main Street; a preliminary report was generated.

Saturday, January 17, 2026, 10:48 a.m.Larceny/Theft: A larceny was reported at the 6 block of Nichols Street; a preliminary report was filed.

Saturday, January 17, 2026, 12:55 p.m.Larceny/Theft: A larceny was reported at Workers' Credit Union, 800 block of Main Street.

Saturday, January 17, 2026, 1:34 p.m.Motor Vehicle Accidents (Afternoon Cluster): Motor vehicle accidents were reported at Princeton Road near Newark Way, the 100 block of Pine Street, Lincoln Street at Pearl Street, the 3 block of Bruce Street, the 400 block of Rollstone Street, Nutting Street at Simonds Street, Wilson Street, and Franklin Road near the 700 block; accident reports were generated for multiple collisions. An officer was injured on duty in connection with the Franklin Road crash cluster; a preliminary report was filed.
