Fall travel soccer tryouts approaching as Fitchburg Youth Soccer opens registration for 2026–27 season.

FITCHBURG -- Fitchburg Youth Soccer is preparing for its Fall 2026 travel season, with player evaluations and tryouts scheduled to begin the week of June 29 at Moran Field, 427 Ashburnham Street.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- All players entering grades 3 through 8 in the fall of 2026 are required to attend a tryout. According to the club, the evaluations are used to place players at appropriate skill levels; all players who attend will be placed on a team. Players who do not attend and have no evaluation data on file will be placed on the lowest available team.

The tryout schedule is as follows: Girls grades 3/4 and 5/6 will be evaluated on Monday, June 29 and Wednesday, July 8. Boys grades 3/4 and 5/6 will be evaluated on Tuesday, June 30 and Thursday, July 9. Girls and boys grades 7/8 will be evaluated on Wednesday, July 1. All sessions are held at Moran Field. Registration for the Fall 2026 season opened Monday, June 15. Travel players needing uniforms are reminded that uniforms are sold separately from registration. Moran Field is currently listed as closed; Coolidge Park and Fitchburg High School fields are open.

The MYSA Post Season Tournament (MTOC) for qualifying travel teams is scheduled for June 26–28, overlapping the current reporting period.
