Fitchburg Youth Soccer wraps travel tryouts, opens fall registration.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Fitchburg Youth Soccer completed player evaluations for its Fall 2026/Spring 2027 travel program, held over sessions in late June and early July at Moran Field on Ashburnham Street. According to the league, evaluations were required for all players entering grades 3 through 8 this fall and are used to place players "at their own level," with every player guaranteed a roster spot; the league notes that a player who skips tryouts without prior evaluation data on file will be placed on the lowest team. Registration for the Fall 2026 season opened June 15, the league said. Questions about tryouts or registration can be directed to the league by email, according to the site.

The league's field-status listing shows Coolidge Park open and Moran Field closed, while the Fitchburg High School field is listed as open.
