MRPC approves out-of-state training for fiscal director and executive director

FITCHBURG — Montachusett Regional Planning Commission unanimously approves out-of-state travel. The commission authorized Fiscal Director Tracy Warrington and Executive Director Glenn Eaton to attend a Grants Management Solutions financial accounting software training in Baltimore on May 12-13, 2026, at a total cost not to exceed $4,634. The two-day seminar will cover comprehensive GMS accounting software training, accounts payable and payroll processing, and year-end closing procedures; staff will also evaluate whether additional GMS modules could improve MRPC's accounting and workflows.
The commission additionally approved March 2026 cash statements showing $726,498.15 on hand after warrant and unanimously appointed Guy Corbosiero, Robert Swartz, and Kristofer Munroe to the Nominating Committee to propose a slate of candidates for commission offices by May 7, 2026.
