Fitchburg License Commission granted two taxi driver licenses and approved five summer entertainment permits. Chair Daniel Sarefield and Members Richard Boscardin and Glenn Fossa unanimously voted to license Paige Lussier and Gary Allain with City Cab of Fitchburg LLC following CORI checks, and granted solicitor licenses to Jimmy Jimenez and Jonathan Martin of On Duty Chimney. Approved permits included Abby Kelly's Wicked Gluten Free Food Expo (September 19, 3,500 people), Shara Osgood's Lowe Park Chalk Art Festival, and three Civic Days Committee events.
Three applications were continued to July 6: Monty Tech Summer Carnival, Aurelove Multi Services LLC restaurant license, and a Power Surge summons hearing regarding a May 23 incident under investigation.
