Fitchburg License Commission approved entertainment and liquor permits for two August events, led by Chair Daniel Sarefield with Commissioners Richard Boscardin and Glenn Fossa. Derek Craig's River City Rhythm & Rock Festival on August 29 at Riverfront Park received unanimous approval for an entertainment permit covering DJ and live music for approximately 1,000 attendees from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, plus a special one-day all-alcoholic beverage license with TIP-certified servers required. Jane Riddle's Church of the Nazarene Summer Praise Fest entertainment permit for August 15 was approved after amendment; Tara Rivera's Celebrate Recovery application was withdrawn.
