Library Rolls Out New Week of Summer Programs

The Fitchburg Public Library has posted a fresh slate of summer programs for the coming week, while the community said goodbye to several longtime residents remembered in obituaries published this week.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
The library's August calendar includes several new offerings for residents of all ages. Adults can join Wednesday Write Night on Wednesday, August 5, followed by Tech Topics and a Craft Cafe session focused on paper weaving poetry on Thursday, August 6. The Fitchburg Silent Book Club meets Saturday, August 8, giving readers a chance to gather quietly with their own books.
Younger patrons have their own lineup: Garden Art and Paint By Sticker sessions run Wednesday, August 5, followed by a Paper Plate Dinosaurs craft on Thursday, August 6, and a Move & Groove program set for Monday, August 10. Teens can look forward to Summer Snack & Cinema on Tuesday, August 11.
