FITCHBURG — The Fitchburg Legislative Affairs Committee unanimously approved an updated fee schedule for the Building Department. Building Commissioner Felix Zemel, seeking to replace Sections 94-1, 94-2, and 94-3 of the City Code, explained that the fees had not been updated in several years and needed adjustment to reflect current costs and expenses. The committee first unanimously approved a motion to delete footnote 4 regarding new construction projects, then unanimously approved the petition as amended.
