Fitchburg Housing Authority approves FY2026 budget and capital investments. Chair Adam Goodwin led the board in unanimous approval of the FY2026 operating budget, a 1,684,309.25 dollar change order for Wallace Tower sewage and cabinet work, and two state HILAPP applications totaling support for elevator and rehabilitation improvements. Executive Director Douglas M.
Bushman reported that FY2025 closed with a reserve rate of 51 percent, 16 percentage points above the state-required threshold of 35 percent. Deputy Director Andrew Skoog reported that three new applicant lists containing approximately 100 prospective tenants each have been pulled for screening across the portfolio.
