Fitchburg Park Board standardizes Riverfront Park facility fees. The Board of Park Commissioners voted unanimously to equalize facility fees at Riverfront Park, eliminating differential pricing for residents and non-residents as required by State PARC grant guidelines. Director James Bunnell reported that facilities receiving such grants cannot maintain separate fee structures.
The board also approved a Memorial Service event for Ginny White from Ginny's Food Pantry in Leominster on May 3 at Coggshall Park with fees waived, and declined spring use of Nikitas Field to prioritize grass regrowth and facility repairs.
