Fitchburg Housing Authority Approves 2026 Officer Elections and Project Change Orders

Fitchburg Housing Authority unanimously elected new board officers and approved capital project spending. Chair Thomas Hughes and Vice Chair Adam Goodwin were elected to swap roles for 2026, with Goodwin assuming the Chair and Hughes becoming Vice Chair. The Board approved two change orders totaling $37,864.03: $13,939.60 for Wallace Tower Modernization and $23,925.43 for Durkin Roof Replacement.
The Board tabled a revised Vehicle Reimbursement policy proposing a $600 monthly allowance and a revised Pet Policy eliminating deposit requirements, referring the latter to the Tenant Policy Committee for further review before the Board returns to both items.
