Fitchburg Cultural Council unanimously approved its FY25 and FY26 grant cycle reports at its July 23 meeting. The FY25 cycle showed 72 of 79 grantees submitting final reports, with 7 outstanding; FY26 tracked 54 total grants with 53 agreements submitted and checks issued July 17, along with 8 final reports received. Council Chair Eva Kelly presided.
The council also approved prior meeting minutes from April 23 and June 4 with 7 in favor, 0 opposed, and 2 abstentions. The council announced the FY27 application cycle opens September 1 and closes October 15. Members discussed recruiting grantees for presentations and a downtown cultural district proposal.
