Disability Commission approves prior meeting minutes; discusses service dog outreach.

Fitchburg Disability Commission unanimously approved December 2025 minutes and heard updates on community programming and accessibility issues. Chair Basil Tolos and four members were joined by guest DJ Tardiff. The commission learned that Liz Lesperance, a Fitchburg resident, will appear on the Kelly Clarkson show January 28th with her service dog Omaha to discuss Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
Ellen Corduan reported finding potential accessibility issues with iPad-based entry systems at city schools and said she and Tardiff will visit Memorial Middle School to review the system. The Mayor's Office submitted reappointments for Tiffany Wells, Carolyn Quirk, and Barbara Slattery, and will recommend DJ Tardiff for membership.
