Disability Commission approves February minutes, advances spring event calendar.

FITCHBURG — The Fitchburg Disability Commission approved its February minutes and committed to three spring events serving residents with disabilities. Emily Stark will coordinate a sensory-friendly movie tentatively set for Friday, May 9 at 2 PM, while the commission will partner with Fitchburg Public Library for a Family Game Night during spring break, April 20-24. Members will also participate in a Seven Hills resource fair at Devens on May 18, with Basil Tolos handling setup.
The Mayor's Office will forward DJ Tardiff's membership nomination to City Council this month, and the commission plans to send Parkhill Plaza's owner a formal letter requesting curb-cut improvements after receiving no response.
