Board of Health imposes tobacco fines, approves new regulations

Fitchburg Board of Health imposes $2,100 fine on smoke shop for tobacco violations. The Board upheld violations found during an April inspection of Royal Fuel Smoke Shop at 880 Water Street and imposed $100 for prohibited blunt wraps and $2,000 for flavored tobacco enhancers in violation of state and local tobacco code. A one-day permit suspension was imposed effective May 29, with remaining days suspended pending compliance.

The Board also unanimously approved Bodyworks Establishment and Practitioner Regulations.
