Fitchburg Board of Health approves septic system replacement and tobacco hearing. The Board unanimously approved a septic system replacement at 717 Mt. Elam Road, allowing three-foot separation from seasonal high groundwater instead of the standard four feet.
The Presby system will serve an existing three-bedroom residence on municipal water. The Board continued its hearing on a revised septic design at 185 High Rock Road to allow an abutter time to review the plan with his engineer, requiring annual private well water testing for five years.
