FITCHBURG — The Fitchburg Airport Commission deferred maintenance decisions pending a permanent manager appointment. The position became vacant April 22, with 14 applications received and two candidates under interview. The Fitchburg Airport Condominium Trust raised concerns over snow plowing that left ice in front of hangar doors and deteriorating asphalt between its hangars, but Chair Clayton R.
Raymond stated he preferred to address these issues once a permanent manager is appointed. The Commission unanimously approved April meeting minutes. The Aero Fair is scheduled for Sunday, June 7, 2026.
